Grantham Museum’s current exhibition ‘Grantham Then and Now runs from Feb 21st to July 4th 2009.
The exhibition is a nostalgic look at how Grantham became the town we see today. It charts the growth of the town from its earliest settlers. Visitors are invited to take a trip through the Middle Ages and on to the Victorian era, where some of the earliest known photographs of the town will be on display.
Local craftsmen will have their wares on sale, such as willow sculpture, turned wood products, long bows, baskets and pottery.
Start/duration: 10:00am – 4:00pm
Meet at: the Craft Courtyard, Big Barn, Little Barn and elsewhere around the visitor centre.
